INSPIRATION
I have always had a passion for color.
I love the blue-green of the sea, the constantly changing
greens and bronzes of the desert, scarlet bougainvillea,
shade dappled Mexican patios, brilliant dreamscapes,
silver and gold, opalescent pearls and sea shells.
All of these things inspire my creations.
I have been making art of some sort for as long as I can remember. (I always preferred Crayons and scissors to dolls.)
I am primarily a self taught artist but I have studied
with various artists including noted NCSU design artist
Joe Cox, award winning Florida landscape artist
Richard Cline, and acclaimed
Cabo San Lucas artist Kaki Bassi.
I am a native of Indiana. I received my education in North Carolina and San Francisco. I have been an art and Spanish teacher and the owner of a small antique business. After living in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and Tucson, Arizona, I now live in beautiful Sonoma, California.

DETAILS
Many of my jewelry designs contain vintage beads,
antique earrings, brooches and each creation is unique but
similar pieces can be made upon request. Necklaces and
bracelets are strung on silver wire and most have sterling or gold filled clasps. In addition to vintage beads, I use quality
gems and minerals, findings and clasps.
As well as my own designs I am now including for purchase,
selected pieces from my vintage jewelry collection.
All paintings and collages are double or triple matted and framed.
